The LEAD method is a four-option response framework for active threats: Lock, Escape, Alert, Defend. It replaces a single rigid rule with clear choices, so people can act on the best option available to them.
When a threat arrives, people need options, not a script. LEAD gives your team four clear ones.

What is active-threat training?
Active-threat training prepares people to recognize, respond to, and survive a violent threat such as an active shooter. It covers awareness, decision-making, and physical response. Threat Response teaches it through the LEAD method.
What does LEAD stand for?
LEAD stands for Lock, Escape, Alert, Defend. It gives people four clear options in a threat instead of one rule.
Who needs this training?
Schools, churches, businesses, and hospitals. Any organization responsible for people in a shared space benefits from crisis-response training.
Do you serve my area?

How long does training take?
It depends on your size and goals. Most engagements start with an assessment, then staff training, then a drill. We scope it in the first consultation.
